Abstract: In this session, participants will have first-hand experience that are centered around them in their role as learners. The instructor will guide participants to plan activities and use strategies that put their students in charge of their own learning. At the end of the session, the participants will have the chance to design their own activities centered around their students interest and need.

Learn how you can effectively search for high quality lesson plans, PowerPoint, multimedia clips, and other resources to use in your teaching. Earn a digital badge and recognition by creating an Al-Masdar account and sharing your own resources, handouts, and activities to enrich the website (you can upload Word docs, PDFs, PowerPoint, audio/video clips, etc.).
